I recently purchased 2 of these adapters for use with a genesis model 2. After spending a significant amount of time testing, i found that both adapters are faulty and disconnect every few seconds which pauses the game and renders these adapters completely unusable. I have since replaced the adapters with an 8bitdo product and have had no issues.

It seems to be of quality material. Since the instructions came in English, I didn’t understand well and it didn’t connect. But once I understood, it connected quickly to my PS4 controller. Only the D-pad works, not the sticks. I recommend it.

Like all of my other blueretro adapters, this thing works like a charm and does exactly what it says it will do. I paired it with an old saturn pad that i customized with an 8bitdo wireless pcb mod kit and it has become my go-to for the sega genesis. Fast shipping, package arrived with no serious damage or defects. the product itself is great. make sure to use a laptop/pc/mac and go online to the blueretro web configuration tool to help quickly setup all of the global settings, outputs, button mapping, etc. you can also update the firmware of this bluetooth adapter too. don’t just pair your controller and get mad and give up if it doesn’t work right away. i use this adapter in my sega genesis model 2 with an 8bitdo m30 bluetooth wireless controller and it works great. it took a little bit of time to correctly configure the controller to be mapped as a 6 button controller. all in all, this is another fantastic retroscaler product. i also have their n64 blueretro adapters and those are just as good.
